Method 1: Try Your SD Card in Other Devices
You can use this method to be sure about the state of your SD card. Here, you simply insert your card into several different devices that can use SD cards such as smartphones, computers, tablets, and so on. Method 2: Check for Errors with Chkdsk Command
Pay attention to the following steps to carry out this method of fixing your corrupt SD card:
1. Connect the corrupt card to your system through a card reader

Method 3: Assign a New Drive Letter to Your SD Card
If your SD card files are unreadable, you can assign use your system to assign a new drive letter to your card using these steps:
1. Right-click on “Start”
2. Click on “Disk Management”, the console will open
3. Right-click on the volume of the drive letter you wish to change
4. Make your choice from the list of drive letters provided
5. Select “Ok”
6. A window may appear asking you “if you actually wish to try to do this”, choose “Yes”
7. Now you can close the “Disk Management” console with a click
Method 4: Format Your SD Card
You can format your SD Card to have everything wiped from it so you can start fresh using these steps on your PC:
1. Connect your SD card to your PC using a card reader or any other adaptor
2. Click on the “Start” button. Then click on “Computer” to take you to “My Computer”
3. All your hard drives should appear in the “My Computer” window. If not, select “Computer” on the left-hand menu
4. Here, your SD card should be listed under “Devices with removable storage”. To view the menu of your SD card context, right-click on your card
5. Select “Format” to see your formatting options
6. Tick the box beside “Quick Format” for a faster process
